Fourth Annual Disability Employment Champions Awards Luncheon.

The Event

In celebration of October’s Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services (DRS) and Dominion hosted its Fourth Annual Disability Employment Champions Awards Luncheon.  The Disability Employment Champions Awards publicly recognizes and honors individuals and organizations from public, private, and non-profit sectors who ‘champion’ the employment of people with disabilities and promote disability-friendly practices in the workplace.  Past awardees have included Virginia Tech, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Omni Richmond Hotel, Busch Gardens Europe, Goodwill Industries, and our very own Former Governor Tim Kaine for his support of the Virginia Medicaid Buy-In Program.
